the 14th month news

Of late there have been trips to the zoo, weather permitting-

a local midwinter lantern festival-
(watching the giant bonfire)

and creatures small-
and great-
at the museum!

Locals have been engaging in crafts-

and culinary activities-

Great feats have been achieved in mountaineering-

and engineering!

in other news, communication levels are at an all time high, with spates of waving, high-fives, and frequent bouts of "issat?"

he's shouting now cos he's stuck..
and of course what one monkey does, a second does too...

on the brink...

of being a 'big' kid...

albeit a silly one.

he's already involved in everything that is going on...
yes, everything...
and now he is...

(waiting for his cake!)
and the fun has just begun!

eating xmas dinner-
and playing with a present-
going for a bushwalk-
and driving a big train-
playing in the bath with his sisterand outside in the sun-
getting stuck in high places-
and a bit of tunneling fun-
but his favourite thing is this plastic tub
paddling play for one!

So now he's 10.5 months old and thinks he really is a big kid!
he's walking 70% of the time, chatters away constantly, claps, points, & plays peek-a-boo.. he likes to wrestle with his older siblings & will chase after them if they hide! He's a mischief too, climbing onto the couch to reach things on the computer desk, opening cupboards & drawers to see what is inside, and climbing onto the kid's little chairs to see what he can reach with the added height!

And he knows he's cheeky too!
